Arrange a ConsultationIndependent by Principle
Veritas Fire Solutions was established to provide independent advice where objective judgement matters most.
Unlike organisations that undertake remedial works, our role is solely to provide impartial technical advice that supports informed decision-making throughout the fire remediation process.
Every recommendation is based on evidence, practical experience and the specific needs of each building — not commercial interest.
Experience
Built on Practical Experience
Independent advice is strengthened by practical experience.
With over 17 years in passive fire protection, fire remediation and compliance, and as an Associate of the Institution of Fire Engineers (AIFireE), my career has progressed from hands-on installation and site supervision through project management to providing independent fire remediation and compliance advice.
Having worked throughout the fire remediation process has given me a practical understanding of how passive fire protection systems are installed, managed, inspected and verified. Today, I apply that experience to provide independent advice that is practical, evidence-based and focused on helping clients make informed decisions.
Career Progression
Built a strong technical foundation through the installation of passive fire protection systems across residential, commercial and public sector developments.
Led installation teams while maintaining quality, programme delivery and compliance with recognised industry standards and project specifications.
Managed third-party certified passive fire protection works, overseeing compartmentation, quality assurance, compliance and project documentation.
Managed complex fire remediation projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting the successful delivery of fire protection works to high standards of quality and compliance.
Providing independent fire condition surveys, compliance assessments, strategic remediation planning and post-work verification, helping clients make informed decisions through objective technical advice.
Our Independence, In Plain Terms
We do not install fire protection systems of any kind.
We do not sell, broker or take commission on remedial works.
Our income is earned solely through independent advisory, review and verification work.
Integrity. Independence.
Contact VeritasIndependent outcomes, anonymised for confidentiality
Every engagement is confidential. The examples below are anonymised but reflect the real value of independent review and verification.
A contractor proposed a £250,000 remediation package for a residential block, with limited explanation of how the scope had been derived.
OutcomeIndependent review identified significant overspecification, helping the client challenge and reduce the scope to what was actually justified.
A client required independent assurance following completed compartmentation works, ahead of handover.
OutcomeA verification inspection identified defects before handover, allowing them to be corrected and avoiding a false sign-off.
Following completed fire stopping and compartmentation works, the client needed independent assurance before final sign-off.
OutcomeThe verification inspection identified defects not picked up internally, allowing issues to be corrected before handover.
